SaturdayWent to the NUS open house with qinghui. actually supposed to meet hafriz but he got performance so i say meet later den go. den qh wanna go early so i tell hafriz to meet at NUS. in the end hafriz didnt come, lucky got qh to accompany.
so went to asked about mathematics, which i'll most probably take up if i can get in there. all the mathematics lecturers are very hairy, hope its not the results of mathematics-ing. den he said that what we'll be learning is on anothe level, like writing essays on why 1+1=2, why sum of irrational number will be another rational numbers, etc.
i rmbed that when im in sec3, ms lee chien chien said abt writing essays on why 1+1=2. and then i thought 'no way im gonna ever study that, so troublesome' and now i have to study that.
before going for the open house, i looked forward to study math in the future, but now, im abit dreading it. i really hate essays man. i tot math will be full of calculations(which though, at times, can be rather frustrating) and i'll be essay free.
but oh well, what to do, this open house lets me know that i have to be ready to write essay on math in 3 years time. for now, i need to focus on getting my As !
there's also exhibition for the CCAs. and they have cuesports ! and the booth for cuesport is a mini-pooltable meant for small kids and i played with the ppl there. and it looks rather cute.
but maybe i'll join the kendo club, looks attractive. but i also wanna join the japanese cultural society, cuz many things they do there is what i wanted to do when i read jap manga! spolit for choices... how to choose !
my bro hired an econs tutor for me. i finally gave in to econs. last year, i wanted to count on myself to improve on econs, but i realize its not possible for me given the sch's system(not that im blaming the sch, just that it doesnt suit me). well i really have to thank my bro, not just becuz he searched for an agency to tutor me econs, but also that he hired a chio one! now this really makes learning econs much easier, fresher and its hard to get sleepy learning econs. hope my econs gets better. theres a test next week, i need to show improvement or else my parents will consider changing tutor !
there's a GP test the day before. and i felt like i cheated. not becuz i peeked at my fren's answers or what, but that its passage is exactly the same as what i revised before. there's this magazine that provides complete answer on how to answer the application question using the same passage as an exampple, and well, i read up on that. which means, if i were to do well, it isnt based on my efforts, and also, if i were to do badly, it means my results are to be even worse if i did not read up on that. well i tried my best to use my own answer, meaning not to use the answer given in the magazine. but in the end i combined my own answer with the ones given in the magazine. cuz i really needed to use the examples to add on to my answers. hope i wont do badly then.
march holidays next week, and i need to use it wisely for my exams the week after ! how i wish ij will set their exams before the march holidays, cuz there's alot of things i wanna do during the march holidays which i cant. sian
