the camp sucks. but i'll post abt it anyway.
SundayTwo friends came over to my house for sleepover cuz nid to report very early to sch and 1 of them live quite far. so i asked some over to play throughout the night. den reach le watched 'Twins Mission' i watched it b4 but its so nice i watched it again with them. den went to my room played cards and took turns in cs. den they go slp i dun feel like sleeping. i went to living room, opened my dvd drawer and watch 'La Bi Xiao Xin'.
MondayThen i woke both of them up den we setted off to sch. we wanted to go macdonalds at civic centre for breakfast but it wasnt open. so we went to the kopitiam near the sch which is open 24 hours. i had roti prata den we go sch.
everyone stared at me when i entered cuz i carried a very big haversack. den others just brought a normal sch bag. i wonder how they fitted everything in. but i think the reason my bag is big cuz i stuffed everything inside, even my day pack and sleeping bag. day pack is what we carry with ourselves all the time and leaving everything else in the hut. den almost everyone carry like 2 bags with a sleeping bag and i carry 1 big bag, so very different.
so waited for everyone to come and den we assembled and went into our buses. dunno how the ppl organize the buses. when we put our bags in the buses, they asked us to take out and put it at another bus. den after a while nid to put back at the original bus again. irritating sia.
so went to kota tinggi. and the whole of JC 1 were separated into 3 divisions, and im in division C. and our division was to go track 1 mountain, and stay over.
so our class had to carry 10 bags, each weighing 25kg, up a mountain. and its a 4 hours track ! so we started off at 12:30. but at 4:30 we still haven reached. den the instructor say a while more, a while more. even at 6+ he still say a while more. until at 8, and everywhere is dark, and we had to use our torchlights. and finally reached the summit at 8:30 which is 8 hours !!! twice the period they told us earlier. so everyone was extremely tired, and we cooked our foods and pitched out tents and went to slp, without bathing or anything. den i woke up, and heard everyone had diarrhea. everyone except for me. den we all thought it was the hotdogs, cuz im the only 1 tt didnt get to eat it, but the report was that other divisions which did not had the hotdogs too got diarrhea. den the teacher said it was the lunch, and that the eggs were at fault. lucky i gave my share of eggs to my fren, so i didnt get the poison. and my friend vommited. dam suay.
TuesdayWe scaled down the mountain. and some parts were very steep, and were super happy we reached the bottom. den we saw Division B queueing up to go climb the mountain. and we were thinking 'Haha losers !' cuz they had to climb to the summit where all our 'landmines' were deposited. den halfway it rained so they had to call off the scaling and then they can get to stay in the resort with us ! wth, and we thought we were the luckiest group that first went to the mountain so we did not have to face any landmines problem.we also had to cancel our waterfall expedition and we just slacked in the resort the whole day. den had dinner and went for confidence nightwalk.
It was rather spooky. guys had to walk solo, and gals in pairs, down a stretch of road at night. there're no lights too but we can make out the road cuz its white in colour. den we had to walk for abt 3 mins alone. rather spooky when some animal at the side suddenly make some noises.
and so we returned and went back to resort, and played murderer. den slept at about 3.
Wednesdaywoke up. the itinerary is some low-element obstacles thingy. first is to jump off a getty into a man made lake. den i jumped and lost my spects ! shit it. the unluckiest thing that happened to me throughout the camp. den no choice had to continue the games without spects. next was to cross some platform with planks. quite fun but abit troublesome to play cuz the platform is not steady and can turn from horizontal to vertical so its easy to fall into the river. next was lunch and we realized division A need not climb the mountain also cuz of the weather, they so lucky !!! den we go kayak. rather boring and tiring. starting its fun cuz i nv done it b4, den it got boring after my waist muscle ached. den had dinner at the ground near the johore river where we kayaked. den took water boat to see fireflies and also managed to catch some. first tym seeing fireflies. den went back and we were supposed to sleep in tents. but we wanna play till morning so we took out sleeping bags and went into a grass land nearby den lay out and play dai di there. den i cant take it liao den go slp, cuz no coffee. den from abt 12 slp till 3. woke up and decided go back tent slp cuz open area got lots of insects.
Thursdaywoke up feeling very painful cuz the tent ground we slept on was very hard. den my knee and elbow dam painful. den had breakfast and gathered together to evaluate our performance for the past 3 days den we slack ard till lunch and had to wash tins. den slacked ard again till lunch. den there's this cheering competition which reminded me of the orientation. was tired so somehow slept through the whole thing. den boarded the buses back to singapore. den ate mac den go home.
if i had the choice to choose, i wouldnt come for this camp. although some were fun but i didnt learn much things. the only thing that i benefited from this was to be able to bond with klasmates. i think some of cuz got closer to each other. but i think in sch we'll still be in our clinques.
